Figurines
Porcelain figurines and miniatures are all handmade, one at a time, fired, glazed and high-fired. Each is unique and uniquely charming.
Jackie makes figurines such as you see here to go with some of the waterfall creations, as well as for Bonsai enthusiasts and for collectors of fine miniatures. And then, miniatures and figurines are just sort of fun and people enjoy placing them about their homes here and there.
This Koi fish figurines are highly valued by Bonsai enthusiasts. The Japanese consider Koi to represent good fortune and many Bonsai
enthusiasts collect tiny Koi figurines. Of course they can't be used in
a Bonsai but they do display nicely.
Children especially love animal figurines such as this little rabbit, complete with pink eyes and inner ears. This wood sprite makes a great addition to a miniature garden.
In fact, she was featured in a miniature garden which was on display in Gallery 668 as one of the primary art exhibits. Miniature gardens make a great setting for the placement of figurines..
